At The Fiscal Phoenix, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. Our Returns & Refunds Policy is guided by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to ensure fairness and transparency.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product you purchase from us has a major fault, or if it:

• is not of acceptable quality (safe, durable, and free from defects)

• doesn’t do what we said it would

• is very different from its description or sample

For minor problems, we will provide a repair or replacement within a reasonable time. If that’s not possible, you may be entitled to a refund.

Change of Mind Returns

​

We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. However, if you contact us within 7 days of delivery, we may offer a store credit or exchange at our discretion, provided the item is:

• unused and in its original condition

• returned in its original packaging

• returned at the buyer’s expense

Digital products (such as downloads, planners, or affirmations) are non-refundable unless required by law.

 

Handmade Candles & Home Fragrance Items

Because our candles and home fragrance items are handcrafted, slight variations in color, scent, or appearance may occur. These are not considered faults under Australian Consumer Law.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days with photos, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Journals, Planners & Printed Products

​

If your physical product is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from its description, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Return Costs

​

• If the product is faulty or not as described → we cover return postage.

• If returning due to change of mind (where accepted) → you cover return postage.

How to Request a Return

1. Contact us with your order number and details of the issue.

2. Provide photos if the item is damaged or faulty.

3. We’ll confirm the next steps — whether a return, replacement, or refund.

⚖️ Additional Notes

• Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.

• Store credits (where offered) will be valid for 12 months.

• We comply fully with the Australian Consumer Law — this policy does not limit your legal rights in any way.
